No Mans Sky had a rocky launch but has been firing on all cylinders since then. The game is set to receive another big update titled Voyagers which brings with it a new type of spaceship: the Corvette. These are gigantic monoliths with huge interiors which you can customise to your liking and have “real interiors, med-bays, sleeping quarters, war rooms, radars, and teleporters.” Because they fly the idea is that your base is always with you. Hello Games lead Sean Murray says the Voyagers update is so big that certain parts of the game had to be reworked to accommodate it.

Really? The same company that intentionally and outright LIED to everyone’s face for years about this anti-consumer game? That company? The same one who only fixed everything for free because they were called out in the numerous LIES and DECEPTION they advertised? That company?
I’m sorry you’re naive, but fuck that company and Sean Murray. They, like the godawful CDPR and Cyberpunk, intentionally lied to you, released the game on a lie, and then only apologized because enough people with common sense called them out on it. They wouldn’t have done a damn thing if enough real gamers didn’t stand up and say something. You casuals though, you eat anything up. No gamer is supporting this godawful company and certainly not this “game”.
You’re entitled to feel however you like, but sales and community loyalty show you’re in a very small minority concerning Hello Games. People routinely play NMS for hundreds, even thousands of hours, take a break and come back for another few hundred, again and again. Right now, it’s really an entirely new game from even just a year ago. Sean Murray is certainly a better face for gaming than executives from certain other companies. Best 40 bucks I’ve ever spent on a game.
No Man’s Sky came out ten years ago and has been getting countless major updates and additions to the game the entire time. More practically than any other company has done and for free. Calling people names and having a meltdown like a immature baby except worse. You calling others Casuals saying others will eat anything up. You Literally Support Nintendo. No Man’s Sky is amazing. Bitter much? Get over yourself. Yes NMS had a rough start, hardly suprising for any new games company, especially when doing something no-one else has even tried before. NMS has been excellent for years now and theyre still releasing free updates, yet you’re still whining. Just uninstall already.
There is small difference between small Hello Games and huge CDP Red.
I’ve read somewhere Hello Games had to release game, otherwise they would go bankrupt before game release. After that we’ve got 10 years of free updates, adding way more than was originally planned.
CDPR had constant income stream from Witcher related stuff. They could move release date for another year. And later they… Want more money than on original release for Switch 2 version…
