The official Crash Bandicoot X account has randomly decided to update their bio leading some fans to speculate that a new game announcement could be on its way for the long-running series. Of course it could simply be for Crash Bandicoot’s anniversary, but it’s been a while since Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s about Time was released. The new bio description simply says “I don’t chase trends, I Crash them.”

Im just baffled by these games. I’ve never enjoyed them and crash, the original Sony mascot to compete with Mario and Sonic, was always just unfunny and the games were not that great. Not sure why we would need another. I get that there will always be those that enjoyed the games and I hope you do enjoy them, but they’ve always been a non-starter for me.
