After 8 years from the initial reveal at E3 2017, Nintendo has finally given us the release date for the highly anticipated Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. Both the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 Edition of the Retro Studios-developed title will be released on 4th December 2025, alongside a new Sylux amiibo. Amiibo for Samus and Samus & Vi-O-La will also release a month earlier, on 6th November 2025, and before that, a Metroid Prime 1-3 visual retrospective art book will launch on 28th October 2025.
Samus is targeted by the deadly sharpshooter Sylux, and lands on Viewros in the aftermath of their clash. She’ll need all her tools and abilities, including her new technologically-advanced bike Vi-O-La, to survive and escape.

To all the fools on this site saying they were worried about it releasing in 2025 and hear rumors it was delayed, kick rocks.
Kicks rocks in your face!
This took way too long to announce. Clearly it’s not finished and there will be crunch time. And seeing how it’s a Metroid game, I can’t wait to read the future news article about all the people who weren’t named in the credits just like in Metroid Dread.
How funny that we get motorbike sections before space flying
I’ll gladly buy them all.
