It’s hard to believe that we are finally nearing the release date for the next mainline Pokemon games, Pokemon Legends Z-A. Thankfully, because of this, pre-loads are now available and they are fairly small file-sizes. The Nintendo Switch version of Pokemon Legends: Z-A is 4.0 GB and the Nintendo Switch 2 version is 7.7 GB. Pokemon Legends Z-A officially launches on both platforms on 16th October.

My pre load is not letting me pay for it digital. Is the pre load only ready for switch 2? Will it be ready at 4:00 pm or later? I live in the new york time zone. Time posted 8:54 am Oct 9 2025.
One week away from release. The excitement is getting hard to control. I will be spending a ton of free time getting through the game and collecting every Pokemon I can and going online to get additional in battles. Then, in February, more DLC content to play and collect.
I’m super excited.
My preload hasn’t started yet either, not sure what time preloads go live but i can’t download the game yet.
Our least favorite pokemon characters are Allister, Avery, Hop and Hau. Stop putting them on upcoming pokemon games because they are ugly and not waifus.
