Amazon France has decided to cut the price of the Nintendo Switch 2 and its bundles thought it is not clear if this is a temporary reduction or a permanent one. The discount applies to the Nintendo Switch 2 and the Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle. The Nintendo Switch 2 price on Amazon France is now €419 and the $469. We heard recently that another French retailer has slashed the price of its Nintendo Switch 2 bundles permanently.

Seems like Nintendo might be starting the feel the headwinds they created themselves after this strong start. The Switch 2 is running about 70% ahead of the original Switch, but at this point stock was still an issue for that console. Sentiment amongst my friends and family towards Nintendo is certainly different now.
That has nothing to do with it… it’s the retailers who set the price, not Nintendo… Nintendo just gives them a ‘suggested’ price; it’s up to them whether to increase it or not…
Also, I remind some people that the GameCube experienced the opposite effect… English retailers had increased its price because they felt the suggested price was too low for them to make a proper profit.
