Pokemon Legends Z-A finally launches on Thursday and there are two versions the Nintendo Switch version and the Nintendo Switch 2 version. If you are wondering how stark the differences are then check out the video down below. The Nintendo Switch 2 version contains better lighting and shadows along with a higher resolution and framerate. There’s a noticeable difference between the two, but Pokemon Legends Z-A is hardly pushing the Switch 2 platform to its limits.

I didn’t see the whole video but saw enough to say that the SW1 version is pretty dang good, I’ll have to see how it runs on my OLED and yes I will be getting the SW1 version and buying the upgrade path since I don’t like the boxart of the SW2. As for the SW2 version, it’s totally a different game that it’s not even funny.
I think the Switch 2 graphics is really something right now and its pushing pass its limits.
Buildings look like an N64 game with an HD texture pack.

Not a very big graphic increase tbh, but that 60fps makes it night and day. 😁
