The Pokémon Company is busy popping the champagne as it has emerged that the newly released Pokemon Legends Z-A managed to shifted over 5.8 million copies during its first week on sale. The Pokémon Company also said that nearly half of those units sold were played for the Nintendo Switch 2.

That’s down a bit from Legends:Arceus that sold 6.5 million in its first week. But that was in Jan 2022 when Switch had a much larger install base. Yes this game will play on Switch 1 and 2, but some folks may be waiting until they have a Switch 2. The last game also came out in January, compared to Oct. I would expect this one to do better in run up to Holidays in the US. Though financial I feel like 2025 is rougher on expendable income than 2022 was.
Awesome! I love to see this news. I waited so long to play this game and just in the first week of owning it, I have dug in deep and played it a lot. Can’t wait to see what they do with this game for the future, other than the DLC coming in February. Now, what do we get next for Pokemon games on Switch 2? Rumors of a Black and White Remake.

I think they’re talking about an NPC that says both Pokemon and humans can vary widely; that they can be male, female, or nonbinary. But who knows, “woke” can mean many things under the sun with these people. Been playing since release and didn’t run into that NPC until today.
Perhaps you should follow your own advice. Use your words and say what you mean instead of “woke”, honey.

loving pokémon’s direction in games recently despite qualms about the graphics, but imo wokémon needs to let me play the games instead of holding my hand every couple of minutes – unfortunately it’s always had this issue but i genuinely felt it got really bad around sun and moon, i was even enjoying those games with the changes they made but god damn, lemme play the games.
The Legends games continue to be better than the main series. I hope Gen 10 can finally bring the main series back on track!
