US: Nintendo Switch 2 has been the best-selling hardware for 2025 year-to-date

Circana, which tracks video game hardware and software sales cross the United States, has confirmed that the Nintendo Switch 2 has been the best selling hardware for the 2025 year-to-date period. This will come as good news for Nintendo as it enters the all-important Christmas shopping season along with the annual Black Friday sales. As we previously reported the Nintendo Switch 2 was the best-selling gaming hardware for the month of September.

  1. Odd… everyone on the interweb says no one is buying Switch 2, because everywhere you look there are tens of dozens of consoles available.🤔

    1. It’s ponies who have nothing better to do these people do not play or enjoy games they just defend playstation and in many cases politics not all of them are paid. Xbox is dead so they have to find something else to try and pretend they’re better than they now go after PC and Nintendo.

    2. With the rising costs of modern gaming systems, the Nintendo Switch 2 presents a compelling value proposition.

While the Xbox ROG Ally X is priced around $1,000, the Nintendo Switch 2, which can play triple-A games, is notably more affordable, potentially costing half the price. This makes the Switch 2’s price point particularly appealing in the current market.
