US: Nintendo Switch 2 No.1 hardware and Borderlands 4 No.1 game

The best-selling video game software and hardware sales figures are through for the month of September from the United States via sales tracker, Circana. The Nintendo Switch 2 proved to be the best-selling hardware followed by Sony’s PlayStation 5 and Borderlands 4 was the top selling video game. It should be noted that Nintendo doesn’t provide digital sales figures, so it’s only physical sales shown. These sales figures are from 31st August to 4th October.

  1. So it might be abysmal numbers. I remember COD Vangaurd was the best selling game for the year it released and flopped because it was the worst selling COD game in history at that point no one talked about that. Yotei came out in October not September.

  2. Switch 2 is number 1 hardware sales wise but no Switch 2 games listed here so are software sales much higher than software sales?

    1. Nintendo’s digital numbers are not included, while most others are, so Circana massively underrepresents them. Honestly, Circana’s software numbers are kind of lame for this reason alone. They also rank them baseddollar sales and not units sold, so cheaper games (like silksong) don’t have a chance of ever showing up.

  3. Ninja Gaiden 4 is easily GOTY only competition is Battlefield 6. Watch the shill awards give GOTY to yotei no question. Silent hill f despite being woke will not be at geoff’s show.
