SEGA has revealed some updated sales figures for a handful of Sonic the Hedgehog games. The mixed-reviewed Sonic Superstars has now sold over 2.43 million copies, the open world game Sonic Frontiers has now shifted over 4.57 million copies and the company’s mobile game, Sonic Dash, has seen over 676 million downloads. The company will hope to replicate this with Sonic Rumble for iOS and Android devices.
SEGA reveals updated sales figures for Sonic games

I consider the fact Frontiers and Superstars both sold millions of copies a big win
How? Superstars was a flop and the number sold now is post discount numbers. Frontiers was discounted less than a week after release. That game’s success was very overrated.
Superstars wasn’t a flop as SEGA never stated it was and Frontiers still costed 60 bucks for most of the platforms; Amazon is ONE platform. Stop being delusional, SEGA could literally scream in your ears that a Sonic game made a revenue of 300 million with a budget of 70 million and you’d still call it a flop. Don’t you get tired after a while? Because you’re not right, y’all never are. Let It go. End of the discussion.
Those kids and their Sonic on mobile devices..
Rip bozonic
the way sonic almost never goes over 5m these days is kinda funny lol but 4m is huge for sonic at least.
I remember the consistent 1-2m times.
I love him sooooo much
It’s exciting to see Sonic games thriving! With Sonic Frontiers reaching over 4.57 million copies sold, it seems SEGA is on an upward trend. I can’t help but imagine how fun it would be if they combined Sonic’s speed with some dreadhead parkour moves—talk about an exhilarating gameplay experience! Here’s hoping Sonic Rumble matches or even surpasses these impressive figures.
Game sold that after how many years? Also was on discount less than a week after release for like $20.
I find it funny we still don’t really know what the sales for Forces is to this day. Sega really have been trying to save face with that game ever since
It’s exciting to see how the Sonic series is performing so well seeing numbers like over 4.57 million units for Sonic Frontiers and 2.43 million for Superstars really shows the enduring appeal of fast-paced, action-packed entertainment. At AnimeSlayerAp.com
, we’re all about that same level of excitement and high-quality streaming for anime fans, so it’s inspiring to see such strong results in the gaming world too.
No it doesn’t this is after years. Superstars flopped and Frontiers went on discount less than a week after release for like $20 that game did no succeed it was Sega just gaslighting to make it seem like a success. Biggest Sonic success has been the movies and that bubble is about to pop with movie 4 given 3 didn’t do as well as they hoped.
