Kirby Air Riders appears to run on Bandai Namco’s SOL-AVES engine

The Kirby’s Air Riders Global Network Test has been taking place and eagle-eyed observers have noticed that the game is seemingly running on Bandai Namco‘s new SOL-AVES game engine. This is a new engine that Bandai Namco has previously been working on and is now live and being used by employees across their spectrum of video games. Kirby’s Air Riders launches on Nintendo Switch 2 on 20th November.

  1. Good to see there are still developers creating their own engines. When I saw that Pikmin 4 was using Unreal, I got a little concerned that Nintendo wouldn’t make their own game engines anymore. Glad that that doesn’t appear to be the case.
