Bandai Namco has provided an update to fans on its X account about its new proprietary game engine and out seems development is currently full steam ahead. The company revealed that its developers are currently being trained on the new game engine which was first announced in 2019. The company wanted to make its own video game engine, rather than rely on third party game development software like Unreal Engine. The new title less game engine will allow for large-scale development, including massive open-world games.
Bandai Namco’s new game engine is full steam ahead

Well then, I wonder what’s this new engine’s “name” is going to be?
Trash. Bandai Namco is a garbage company still no support for Sparking Zero they let it fade and Tekken is garbage. Bandai canceled One Piece and Naruto games as well as other Shonen Jump games just give up the licenses. Still no new Shonen Jump crossover game been 6 years since Jump Force came out.
Instead they’re making games like Unknown 9, Bloodwaker whatever it’s called, Little Nightmares, and Tekken. Give up the Shonen Jump licenses already let Savvy take them with that money we could get the Jump crossover we all want with CyberConnect2 and all characters like Shaman King.
I hope the next Smash Bros is open world
troll
why does the world hate me
Because BotW/GTA fanatics like you are deranged.
You’ll never, not in a million years, be able to correctly guess the last 3 games I played. Not even close.
Like what, you want a more dogslop Great Maze or just Smash Run: Fortnite Edition?
or do you want more awful 8-player stages no casual player uses?
I can’t believe DBFZ came out almost 7 years ago on Switch 1
“and out seems”…. “The new title less game”…. I see, a linguistics or English PhD writes for this site.
Reading this reminds me of when I first tried building my own tiny game in a basic engine years ago — the excitement of getting a character to actually move across the screen was unmatched. Seeing Bandai Namco push forward with a new engine makes me wonder what kinds of worlds we’ll get to explore next.
Between game dev experiments, I sometimes take a break with Gratis Solitar — a quick, no-download solitaire game that’s perfect for clearing my head before diving back into code.
