Beenox, the studio behind Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled, could be working on a new game in the series. This all emerged due to a new profile image the company used which featured Crash Bandicoot in his kart. The notable thing is the Crash Bandicoot used was from Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, which launched after Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled. Whether a new game in the series is under development remains to be seen.
Damn we are getting a ton of kart games recently huh? I feel like massive online multiplayer games are no longer that much profitable and thanks to many small amazing indie multiplayer games, triple A industries are thinking of aiming for smaller projects that revolves around having fun with friends, I think it would be pretty nice if I’m correct.

I don’t know what happened to kart racers with a full story mode. DKR was much better for SP over MK64, though on the multiplayer side maybe MK was better.
It’s like Nintendo kinda got lazy after MKDS with the decent mission mode and decided to basically never include it again or even expand upon it into a full SP mode.
Ew no. Hate what they’ve done with modern Crash and the Spyro remake they should just let the Vicarious Visions team take all those IP and the old Xbox IP too like Banjo.
