The latest video game software and hardware charts have come through from the United States for the month of October. The Nintendo Switch 2 was the best-selling console shifting an additional 328k units. Circana. which tracks sales across the USA, says the Nintendo Switch 2 is 68% ahead of the sales pace set by the original Nintendo Switch and is 3% ahead of PlayStation 4’s sales pace.

I can’t wait for humans to be past this phase of seeing success or failure in a product and the first thought instantly is about the people who have opposite feelings. Like focus on the good things if you like said product, the success of that product means more good things will come it, I.e. software and successors. It’s all you see now, consumers, influencers etc. Treating products and brands as sports teams. The internet is tiring lately.
I find your reply tiring. Cold hard numbers are the only our thing that’s real. Anything else is opinion, and ends in meanignless arguments.
I’m not even talking about anything about stating success is bad. Like it’s important, especially to game development companies deciding to put resources into the device, seeing how well it’s doing on the market. I’m just saying obsessing over the people that root for it’s failure is just equally as toxic. It’s all that’s ever under these posts, it’s never celebrating it doing so well it’s always about what the people who feels negatively agenda at the time.
