Developer Compulsion Games (creators of Contrast and We Happy Few) and publisher Xbox Game Studios has announced ahead of The Game Awards 2025 that South of Midnight is coming to more platforms. The spellbinding action-adventure game, which received very positive reviews when it launched for PC and Xbox earlier this year, will now be released for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. More details will be shared closer to the release date, currently slated for Spring 2026.

  1. The announcement of South of Midnight coming to PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 is great news for players who’ve been waiting to experience Compulsion Games’ latest adventure beyond PC and Xbox. Its strong reception earlier this year makes this expansion to more platforms feel well-deserved, and a Spring 2026 launch window gives fans plenty to look forward to. I’m excited to see what additional details will be revealed as we get closer to release.

    1. Yup but Phil Spencer and Xbox refuse to let it die but they let Tango almost die and killed a studio that was going to reveal it’s first game same way they keep modern Rare open, Undead Labs open, Obsidian, Turn 10, Halo, Coalition, Ninja Theory, Inxile, Arkane, like all these studios alongside Compulsion are trash. Phil, Sarah Bond, Matt Booty, and most of all Aaron Greenberg need to go get fired and blacklisted! Xbox was never meant to be woke the west coast people just made it worse.

  2. Blame Team Xbox hopefully they finally get fired after this. The same people claiming Sea Of Thieves is a flop better not gas this up
