Dusk Golem: Code Veronica Remake scheduled for 2027 and Resident Evil Zero Remake 2028

Resident Evil insider Dusk Golem has come with an update on the next releases in the Resident Evil series after Resident Evil Requiem launches early next year. The first project from Capcom is Resident Code Veronica Remake, which is set to be announced next year with release sometime in 2027. The Resident Evil game after that will be Resident Evil Zero Remake, which is currently slated for release in 2028. Resident Evil Requiem launches on Nintendo Switch 2 and other platforms on 27th February, 2026.

“What I’ve heard is Resident Evil: Code Veronica Remake should be announced next year, and release in 2027, then Zero Remake releasing the following year in 2028. I’ll keep you posted if I hear differently.”

    1. It seems capcom are committed to remakes of all the series with the re engine and I imagine the first original resident evil will get the same treatment eventually, this has had remasters and updates for newer consoles, but not the re engine remake like 2, 3 etc.
I expect the remake of the remake of the original resident evil to be a big highly anticipated game.

  1. So these haven’t been announced then, right? And we have no idea that they’re coming because CAPCOM, the only entity in all of this “news” that matters hasn’t said anything, right? Okay then, why are you reporting on what a POS thief says?

Gamers don’t give POS thieves attention, only entitled casuals who need to feel important do. Stop hurting the community by incentivizing people to STEAL. This is why Marvel’s Wolverine got pushed back and the Venom game got cancelled. Stop giving POS thieves attention.

  2. Dusk Golem is a moron, he shouldn’t be listened to. Building up fake hype, the amount of stuff they get wrong for Requiem was nuts. Kid is trying to stay relevant, throw a mountain of shit at a wall and some will stick

  3. So… No official statement from Capcom? Just a POS thief sharing “information” they have no legal right to share? Or just a moron clout chasing? No real gamer supports leakers I mean POS thieves, that goes for “journalists” too; if you don’t have anything official to report, then you don’t report it. You’re half the problem and the reason great studios like Insomniac have to cancel projects and push games back because of POS thieves. Stop ruining our hobby, if you don’t like it then GTFO.
