Persona 5 director hasn’t been “super involved” in series since Persona 5

Katsura Hashino, the director behind acclaimed JRPG games such as Persona 3, Persona 4, Persona 5, and Catherine, has said that he’s not really involved with the franchise anymore. Speaking in a new interview with Game Informer, Mr. Hashino says that he has been watching from the sidelines after opening a new subsidiary within publisher Atlus, Studio Zero, which went on to release the success story that was Metaphor: Refantazio.

“Right now, my juniors – members who have come after me – have taken over the reins and are producing titles for P-Studio. I’ve been on the sidelines, watching them and looking over them to see what they’re doing. In that sense, I haven’t been super involved in the Persona series after P5.”

  1. Kinda concerned about this. But as long as Soejima is in the team, I feel hopeful, if they make an Italian brainrot game and soejima was the artist I’d probably eat that garbage
