Splatoon 3 has now been rated for the Nintendo Switch 2 in Europe despite being previously updated for the platform. The Pan European Game Information has just rated the game and given it a 7+ age rating. Whether Nintendo is planning to bring out a dedicated Nintendo Switch 2 Edition remains to be seen. It could simply be a case of PEGI catching up with newish releases.

No NS2 Edition here. Those get their own separate rating list compared to free upgrades. What’s confusing about this is that this was already freely upgraded back in June so idk why this is only now being updated through the PEGI Board.
Some weird stuff going on with this and that Pikmin 3 one the other day, I wouldn’t expect either of those to get Switch 2 Editions so must be something else
