UK games journalist Christopher Dring has confirmed this evening that the Nintendo Switch 2 has now outsold the Wii U, the SEGA Dreamcast and the PlayStation Vita in the biggest games market in Europe, the United Kingdom. This is an impressive achievement given the platform was only released in June.

Wii U and Dreamcast, two consoles I owned. The Dreamcast was honestly a great console which did not deserve its fate
Dreamcast was ahead of its time. The only slight downside was lack of more space on the discs, and it could’ve done with a second thumbstick.
It did better in the hardware department for its time vs Wii U and Wii in terms of power though without question.

It is units shipped but Switch 2 is doing great last I heard it was beating the PS5 launch in numbers and no surprise because it has games.

It really blows my mind just how little the Wii U sold. LOVED the Wii U. Had so much fun with it. Some of Nintendo’s best games ever came from that console and it shows since they keep bringing them back on their future consoles.
