Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of An Elusive Age has shipped over 9 million units

Square Enix has recently announced that the engrossing Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of An Elusive Age has now shipped over nine million units worldwide. The news came in a press release which coincided with the demo launch for Dragon Quest VII Reimagined. We are still waiting for the eagerly-anticipated Dragon Quest 12, which we should hopefully hear more about later this year.

“The latest instalment, DRAGON QUEST XI S: Echoes of An Elusive Age, was released to much critical acclaim, winning the Metacritic Must-Play game award and becoming Metacritic’s “#2 Best Switch Game of 2019” and “#3 Best PS4 Game of 2020.” It has shipped more than 9 million units globally to date.”

  1. Dragon Quest 11 is, for me, an excellent installment. I liked the demo of 7, hoping for some additions since I’ve already finished it several times on the 3DS!

    1. I here it’s they made changes to the progression. I know they cut two islands. I have not played vii in like 20 years on the PS1 so I hope they don’t cut too much😁
