Windows Central: Bethesda isn’t releasing Fallout 3 and New Vegas Remasters soon

Rumours swirled recently that Bethesda is working on remasters/remakes for Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas and that the company was planning to shadow drop them in a similar style to The Elder Scrolls Oblivion. The files for both games were recently updated on Steam, leading players to assume that they were close. However, Windows Central says that this isn’t the case and that they aren’t sure when to expect them, though it won’t be anytime soon.

“Indeed, I’m told Fallout 3 and New Vegas remakes aren’t exactly “imminent,” and you shouldn’t expect them in the near term. I’m still trying to lock down more detailed timings on when we should see them appear, but the impression I’m getting is that we’ll see Fallout 3 remastered before New Vegas.”

“In the short-term, though, Fallout fans will have to make do with the Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition, big ticket overhaul mods like Fallout London, ongoing updates to Fallout 76, and a bit later, remasters for Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Which to be fair, is quite a lot really.”

  1. One minute soon the next minute no. These guys are just wrong all the time and full of it the Xbox insiders. Just full of themselves and overhype things never taking accountability and heard they are close to Xbox staff which is why they get treated so well and why Xbox never improves they get positive feedback from these people then give them things if not you get cut out. Heard NRS does the same thing.
