Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. announced the latest DRAGON BALL Game Project “AGE 1000” at the “Dragon Ball Genkidamatsuri” event held on Sunday, January 25, 2026.

The world of DRAGON BALL continues to expand with a brand-new DRAGON BALL world and its entirely original characters— all brought to life by Akira Toriyama. Set for 2027, the “AGE 1000” project will introduce even more unique characters as the adventure unfolds. In a reveal trailer, fans can witness the debut of a never-before-seen character—designed by Akira Toriyama himself—within the new DRAGON BALL world, “AGE 1000.”
Further updates on this project will be announced at Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2026, which will be held in Los Angeles, California on April 18-19, 2026.

DBS is continuing and a remake of DBS plus more DLC for Sparking Zero. I’m happy with what they showed despite not seeing the event, only saw the important things.
I say remake, more like a remaster of Super but things getting added and remastering. Still, I’m excited.
Why its garbage and ruined Dragon Ball. They are remaking Battle Of Gods. Undoing the years of peace that the end of Z said occured and undoing Vegeta coming to terms Goku is more powerful than him in a great end. Also Gohan, Goten, and Trunks being ruined in Super. In Super they do not want Trunks and Goten to fight Frieza yet in the Tarble special which by Super stan logic is cannon because Toriyama wrote it Goku said looking back Frieza was a weak opponent and had Trunks and Goten fight his henchmen and of course they were thrown to fight Buu who was WAY more powerful and Kid Gohan was there for the Saiyans, Frieza, Androids, and Teen Gohan defeated Cell. But keep the kids away from Frieza who randomly gets a awful banana form just because. Trunks hair being the wrong color too. The timeline making no sense also Shin Budokai Another Road reintroduced Future Trunks in such a better storyline unlike Super. DBS is just souless garbage by Toei and Bandai to make money even in Japan they disliked it whole reason it was cancelled also the manga did not sell well there it sold better in the west sadly because the idiots bought it, not sure if they actually read it.
Also makes no sense Goku fighting Uub then and him being the new savior is removed too. Goku fighting him now makes no sense in Z Uub was close in power level now he would not stand a chance. Also Pan in Super Hero looked way older than she did in the end of Z.

Yes Super is trash and undoes so much. Pan is younger than Bra but in Super Videl is pregnant first, in the end of Z they had years of peace Super undoes that by having Beerus, Black, Frieza again, the threat of near end of the universe, and Broly. Goku and Vegeta also train in the hyperbolic Time Chamber again despite rules showing there is a limit you will not exceed that level you reached so it serves no purpose yet in the manga Goku trains in a weaker one to master true Ultra Instinct with Whis’s brother in addition Frieza does the same for his Black form which is more powerful than Ultra Instinct the equal of a Angek and Ultra Ego the equal of a Destroyer God and Beerus lets him live? The Destroyer Gods especially kill those that are threats to them. Then Beast Gohan makes less sense having no training with a god and the form is more powerful than both Ultra Instinct and Ego in DBS manga. Goten and Trunks were ruined in Super doing nothing despite being thrown to fight Buu in Z also Gotenks fusion was mocked in that awful filler episode where they go to another planet. Ultra Instinct Goku was barely standing his own to female saiyans who were way less powerful, they could only go to max SSJ2 not 3 while Goku and Vegeta mastered forms more powerful and so did Gohan with Ultimate Gohan. Series is trash and makes no sense. Then lets not forget Broly if they needed to recruit why did they not recruit him? He is apparently more powerful than God, Blue, and Ultra Instinct needing a fusion to take him on? Yet Broly is also base SSJ his form of Legendary was introduced around Cell saga when SSJ3 did not exist so by having forms more powerful than SSJ3 they should beat him with ease. Even worse Goku said he was more powerful than Beerus so how did Whis and Beerus not sense a warrior like that or go to him when they needed to find the Super Saiyan God. Then the other stupid thing in Super Hero where they “level up” the Dragon Balls that was never possible and their were restrictions about power levels the Dragon Balls could raise.
Also in Z Pan knew how to fly when she was younger and her design in Super the eyes are done different too same way Trunks hair was messed up.
Daima undoes Super. SSJ4 Goku, SSJ3 Vegeta, and the Kibitokai fusion being broken. Super is complete garbage and so is its tourist audience.
Awful series and lets not forget blue hair Trunks, somehow in Super Hero main universe Trunks’s his hair color is now blue too and Pan’s eye color is now blue instead of black. A series full of continuity errors, bad writing and no soul. Then again they ripped off ideas from DBAF and Toyotaro was horrible at story and Toriyama was originally a gag manga artist his editors had to guide him to be more serious which is why Daima also had a goofy villain not a serious one.
Dragon Ball Super ruined Vegeta too turning him into a joke!
They ruined Buu as well anyone mad at GT but defends Super is a moron especially Buu in Super he is more a joke and always sleeping meanwhile GT he got such great moments and an emotional send off
They acknowledge Tarble exists but refuse to bring him for the tournament in Super. Even more dumb given he can go Super Saiyan but instead the bring Frieza back from the dead….also instead of Goten and Trunks who can go Super Saiyan 2 competing they brought Frieza back and human characters less powerful than Goku and Vegeta. Also ruin Yamcha more, sad what he became went from a good martial artist to a complete joke he used to be on par with Tien now he’s the bottom of the barrel. Wait no I think he beat Gohan once in Super? Maybe it was Hercule? Damn so Yamcha and Gohan ruined too. Then lack of Buu, Goten, and Trunks. GT did not do Goten great and Toriyama did him dirty messing up his hair which was his choice and since it was the end the editor allowed it but in GT Buu is done great and his friendship with Hercule really meant something and Trunks as well, Gohan in GT may be a family man but he was no pushover unlike GT and Goten could still go Super Saiyan and handle fights. Even the Super Dragon Ball Heroes stuff does Goten dirty, Trunks is great in it but Goten is just a goof.
Vegeta ruined as well being a comedic character he was never that look at Z he never acted like that. GT kind of does it but not as much and not the way Super did. At least in GT he is way older so he mellowed in Super its post Buu so much time should not have passed but he is a complete joke in Battle Of Gods.
Yes cheer on Toei milking and ruining Dragon Ball even after Akira Toriyama died! Disgusting! I criticized his Dragon Ball work with Super being awful but using his name in death for profit is vile! All because Jump, Toei, and Bandai have nothing else. Kinnikuman is the OG battle shonen they could readapt that given that anime is not faithful and contradicts its sequel and make games the series is loved in Japan even has its own holiday. Saint Seiya too, Toriko, Zatch Bell, Sakigake Otokujuku, World Trigger, Beet, and others they could do things with over ruining Dragon Ball more. Granolah is even worse, so many things like Frieza somehow being unbeatable and Granolah too more powerful that Ego and Instinct also Bardock wished on Dragon Balls to give Goku his powers it is so bad or somehow Namek is still there despite being destroyed and Moro goes there. People forget Toriyama had editors and he left for years and had a new editor who was more a friend than editor. Toyotaro literally traced Marvel comics which is why the manga looks weird and then traced old Toriyama art panels. Moro battle with Goku he traced the battle with Frieza.

Black Goku stuff was Xicor, DBS Frieza was Frost, the Saiyan God ritual was ripped from a AF fan fic where they needed 7 Super Saiyans to revive the Dragon Balks and bring Goku back, they even brought Broly back in AF fan fic as 1 of the 7. Moro is just Frieza, Buu, and Cell all in 1 he is a old evil sealed away like Buu and wears the same belt also had issues with the Kai’s, is like Cell that he needed to specifically absorb an Android to get to his next level also absorbing and copying others abilities, then like Frieza plans an invasion to Earth and the battle with Goku is literally the same as Frieza but Moro tries to blow up like Cell. Not to mention Toyotaro traces other peoples art work Marvel comics, Dragon Ball, and Naruto it seems especially for the Granolah arc. Makes even less sense that Moro goes to Namek and finds it because a former Frieza henchman when Namek was destroyed and the Namekians found a new remote planet that no once besides Dende, Piccolo, and Goku knew about when Piccolo fused with Kami because Earth needed a new guardian for new Dragon Balls and that’s how Dende became the new guardian. Its not something Toriyama wanted to do. Editors needed to force him to continue Dragon Ball post Frieza then post Cell and he finally got to end it with Buu. Also I feel everyone else that made Dragon Ball should be praised too Toriyama did not do it alone the writers and staff at Toei played a huge role from the 80’s and 90’s, Funimation dubs composers, Toriyama’s editors like Kazuhiko Torishima who were also producers on the anime, Toriyama’s assistants, Toriyama’s friend Masakazu Katsura who came up with the idea of fusion and others given the series is trash now without them and it should have just remain ended. I love GT and Daima did make me smile hearing Stephanie as Kid Goku again she needs to be brought back for Sparking Zero. Daima was Toriyama’s last project. This is just design he did the same with other things like Blue Dragon, Chrono Trigger, Xenoverse, DBFZ, now this.

That makes no sense. Yes he is creator but the series has an end what is being made now is butchering it. The defense of Super and anything that time was “Toriyama made it” that was the selling point and defense of bad product and now in death they are still doing it the corporations for money that he will not see. They see complaints about Gohan randomly make him the strongest character, Piccolo is weak randomly throw out logic and lore about the Dragon Balls make him orange, Frieza randomly bring him back and he just becomes unbeatable despite Goku fighting more powerful adversaries, heck they ruined Goku too making him an idiot and then having the only reason he is powerful is because Bardock made a wish on another planets Dragon Balls for Goku to be powerful. So no just let it end one of the best things about anime and manga was it ended it wasn’t frankensteined like western slop.
You forgot they only brought Broly back because fans wanted him back and then ruined it his Super version made no sense how could Beerus and Whis not sense a saiyan that strong? Especially when he may be stronger than Beerus, is stronger than Goku in Super, and would have been needed for the tournament to save the universe. Also Bulla is another, they forgot she existed and when it was called out she got brought in the problem is in the Japanese dub her name originally was Bra she was Bulla in the US, however in Super’s Japan dub she is Bulla? Showing they just saw the western chatter and did that but also forgot she is older than Pan contradicting the end of Z. Also the rules of the Dragon Balls were thrown out like wait a year before a new wish, the hyperbolic time chamber having limits that is thrown out too because why not? The whole reason black frieza exists is because he went to a weaker chamber but for both his gold and black forms who did he train with to get it? At least with Mystic/Ultimate Gohan he trained with the Kai’s, Goku trained with Kami and King Kai, Vegeta trained with Goku and spent all his time in the gravity chamber then trained with Future Trunks to get to his Super Vegeta form and got to SSJ2 by continuing to train, Goku got SSJ3 in the otherworld training with others like Pikkon.

Toyotaro the guy behind the DBS manga traces others comics and Toriyamas manga also Naruto too I think some scenes in DBS during Granolah arc look like Naruto. How he was not sued is beyond me. His art looked AI and his writing was awful just bad reinterpretations of DBAF fan fic thats what DBS was Black Goku was a warped version of Xicor, Gold/Black Frieza was Frost, and Super Saiyan God was a ritual to revive the Dragon Balls in AF to bring Goku back even Broly is brought back in AF to perform the ritual so they ripped that off too. Also female saiyans but in AF it made sense Pan and Bra/Bulla went Super Saiyan to perform the ritual needing like 7 Super Saiyans to bring the Dragon Balls back.
No Shonen Jump crossover game, no Naruto/Boruto, no One Piece games, but we will beat Dragon Ball into a lifeless husk that we can ruin more here at Bandai. Toei will join in too and instead of bringing back Toriko, World Trigger, Bobobo, or remaking Zatch Bell, Sakigake!! Otokojuku, and Beet we will make this. I mean Saint Seiya has a final arc not adapted and hasn’t had a game in years but ignore that despite its influence. Just remake One Piece, make trash Moro arc anime, and remake DBS with DBS Beerus. First Super Sentai’s mess now this.
Yeah Bandai cancelled it all for slop. The licenses need to go elsewhere look at Demon Slayer. Also Toriko game mixing Ultimate Ninja Storm with Monster Hunter would go hard.

Yeah Dragon Ball Super was like that. Daima had some heart to it. Anything Super is lifeless but morons and tourists like it anyone who likes this is not a real anime fan just a grifter tons of them online influencers.
The eyes look off especially. Look he drew saiyans so weird in Super Cabba, Kale, Caulifa they all looked out of place. Also Super Saiyan God was a horrible design just skinny Kaioken. Then even more stupid Blue is more powerful but basic SSJ Broly in Super is more powerful than both. Bad writing and no heart.
The sooner this stuff flops the better. I love Dragon Ball, love anime, hate what it has become and hate the normie tourists that ruin everything. This stuff community wise needs to return to the real fans. Not these fakes! Dragon Ball Super IS Trash! Anyone who likes it or defends it is a tourist! All the youtube influencer trash happy about this and make bad videos all fake too or get paid so they need this for content to boost viewership it is a parasite relationship not just for this but everything gaming and tv/movies too.
