Update: Apparently a Ubisoft employee has now said on Reddit that post-launch support has not ended. Though it’s not clear when this issue will be resolved.
Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition was recently released and it is a nostalgic gem, however there are reports that if you play the Atari Jaguar and MS-DOS versions of Rayman it simply does not save your progress, which would be infuriating to say the least. Reddit user BenjyMLewis reached out to Ubisoft support regarding the matter and was told that post launch support for Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition has finished and that the issue won’t be resolved.
“We appreciate that you have sent us video showing the issue where when you reset the game, your progression got deleted within the process. We apologize for the inconvenience that was caused.
Within this issue, we would like to inform you that, we have now stopped post-launch support on this game, as our development team has moved on to other projects. We have no further updates planned for this title, so this issue will most likely remain in the game.
We understand that this is not the outcome that you are looking for. We hope you will still be able to enjoy your time playing and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Since there is no further action, we are going to close this ticket. Kindly note if you have encountered any other difficulties in the future with a different issue, please don’t hesitate to contact us – by re-opening this ticket or open a new ticket.”

Just some 5 Roms in a row and left. Rayman’s anniversary everyone.
If only they could have done it earlier. It looks like a crappy anniversary.
Wow. I’d say that’s a refund request if I bought it and a Do Not Buy for anyone who hasn’t picked it up
Well that’s kind of crappy, its been what less than a week ? To me that’s reads as they release this and they don’t actually care about it or their customers.
Ubisoft is a joke. A terrible, low-standard, low-quality company. I could put more trust into Casey Anthony babysitting my kid before I could trust Ubisoft to release stable and reliable software.
The staff should be ashamed of themselves.
A much as I dislike Ubi, let’s not say stupid shit for the sake of saying stupid shit.
So basically, they knew all about this from the start, not even a risk to them, as they never planned to do anything about it.
So you will have to play from start to finish without shutting down your console, speed runners paradise 😂
i don’t know might be kind of fun, i remember playing Playstation 1 games without a memory card and leaving the console on. As they say “there are no mistakes, just happy accidents”
Dude, Ubisoft outright stating “tough luck bro, we’re not gonna fix shit”. It’s so unapologetic that it’s funny.
Ubisoft really doesn’t respect the Rayman IP :(
Ehh there was a fan remake of Rayman 1 that was released 5 and a half years ago anyways called Rayman Redemption.
A Ubisoft Employee reached out to another Reddit thread to clarify that the comment was likely a mistake and that support has not ended.

This is a reason to pirate.
Why am I not surprised?
Horrible. Sounds like a pretty important bug that should be fixed. Ubisoft could face a class action lawsuit on this and have to give refunds and maybe more. Better to find one guy who can fix the bug and have a QA team test it for a day or two. And even if a lawsuit doesn’t happen (but let’s be realistic, lawsuits like this always happen), it’s just blatant poor customer support and shows a company who doesn’t care, releasing a buggy product and saying screw you. Not a good look, Ubisoft.
As awful as Ubisoft is, everyone, this is so obviously fake. Even Ubisoft wouldn’t say this. Support for the game has not ended.
