Nintendo has apparently started refunding those who have asked for their money back for the disappointing Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition Nintendo Switch 2 upgrade. There have been numerous videos on the subject on YouTube with many reporting that the game looks worse than it did without the upgrade with poor textures issues and upscaling techniques. It’s not clear which studio was behind the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, but if you are having problems with it then it could be worth your while contacting Nintendo Support.
Nintendo seemingly offering refunds for poor Xenoblade Chronicles X Switch 2 upgrade

I went to YouTube and did not find one single video about this poor performance. Desperate for clicks today huh mynintendo news?
I found three in about two seconds. Can you please not disrespect this free website that provides a helpful service? Thanks
removed and banned for very offensive language towards other users
For starters, you can click on the word “refunding” and “Youtube” in the article and they are links.
Are you actually retarded?
exactly people in their small little groups come here being mad disrespectful for no reason
Agreed. Shawn is one of those masupportersga
Bull. I have the upgrade and its 100% an improvement in all regards. The very few complaints I have seen, where clearly click bate and the same looser influencers that are constantly complaining about everything.
Any website feeding that nonsense is NOT helpful or reputable.
Literally searched it and found a few videos in less than two second
Are you blind???
Prove it liar,
Shawn couldn’t pour water out of a boot with instructions written on the heel.
That is an extremely wild burn lol
Man you really love nintendo. You realize they could give a shit less about you. Also your telling people to prove it when someone already posted like 3 videos in this exact comment section.
I have seen video complaining and yeah for five bucks it could have looked better but it’s really not that big of a deal. The game looks and runs really well.
Not only it was a bad upgrade but you had to pay for it? What are we doing here man…
This is one reason why I refuse to buy a Switch 2 (there’s a pretty long list of others, but I won’t get into them here). Nintendo wants me to pay even more to “upgrade” the games I already paid for. I have nearly every mainline Nintendo Switch title, along with the respective DLC, and they want more money for what modders do for free on PC. The Switch 2 is one of the most anti-consumer products I’ve ever seen, and it blows my mind that the drones empty their wallets for it. Ever since its release, though, I’ve seen nothing but video after video on what a disappointment it is, including from big names like Caddicarus. Well, they’re not getting blood from this turnip, and this is coming from a lifelong Nintendo fan who has been playing their games since 1993.
I learned from Caddicarus that the Switch 2 joycons have a new mouse mode. What a guy!
I agree with you for most things, but I think that a lot of youtubers create those videos because they draw in lots of views. Upgrade packs are pretting annoying, but it’s so common with playstation and nintendo that I just accepted it.
The game is generally better, running at 60fps is such a huge upgrade, and sharper image. I’m sure they will fix the texture issues in time but it does feel a poor effort for something they are charging for
Hopefully they fix this upgrade so that it doesn’t have any of these issues. I have a friend who hasn’t bought a Switch 2 yet BECAUSE he’s been waiting for this game to get upgraded. He won’t be happy to hear about these user reports.
This is kinda odd, but at the same time this was technically supposed to release April 16th, so it’s likely there was a push for some reason to drop it in February before the finishing touches were put on. I’m sure if there are any issues they’ll be fixed by then. Nonetheless a little odd to see I guess
I hope you’re right.
Shawn, I think you need to turn in your gamer card immediately.
hopefully they fix it by at least the physical release.. im a goober that bought the upgrade pack and still havent tried it. Unless the extra poor textures is super obvious during casual gameplay i will be content with the 60 fps.
Hopefully this won’t be like rayman 30th anniversary edition and have bugs and then get ditched by the development team (According to a previous article). But nintendo is usually good at fixing glitches, hopefully they update the upgrade pack and have those updates on the catridge when it releases in april. I also think it’s cool that they are offering refunds, that’s never that common.
