The Pokemon Company announces Pokemon Winds & Waves for 2027

The next mainline game in the Pokemon franchise has been revealed and it’s none other than Pokemon Winds and Waves which arrive on the Nintendo Switch 2 sometime in 2027. The new Pokemon games feature large lush outdoor spaces and little islands for you to explore, so it’s a world away from Pokemon Legends Z-A . You can check out the trailer for Pokemon Winds and Waves down below.

    1. Yeah, lets infect a family friendly and children’s game with sickness and disgust for the alphabet crowd wanting to use the wrong bathrooms at Target.

      1. I was disgusted by that Avery character on pokemon shield, so I brought sword version later to get the cute girl instead. I hate how I brought shield in 2019 before I knew about isle of armor which was announced in 2020.

    2. I’ll take back every bad thing I’ve ever said about Pokemon if they make a “Woke” version and “Based” version. That would be so entertaining to watch play out.

    1. At this point you’ll have to make a choice and buy a Switch 2. Having the next mainline Pokémon as a NS2 exclusive all but states that you won’t get big releases on the original Switch anymore.

Next 3D Mario? Switch 2 exclusive.
Next mainline Zelda? Switch 2 exclusive.
Next Smash Bros.? Switch 2 exclusive.
Next Xenoblade or whatever Monolith Soft does next? Switch 2 exclusive.

      It is what it is.

  1. Pokémon I can see why they put the 2027 release date instead of 2026 after the game and the screenshots for it was leaked online by the hacker. I really feel sorry the damage has been done by them.
