The Pokémon Company has announced a release time frame for Pokémon Champions, which was first revealed for Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android last summer. The multiplayer strategy spin-off, developed by TPC’s recently established subsidiary The Pokémon Works, will launch for Switch in April 2026, while the mobile versions while arrive later in the year. I also like that it’s launching on Nintendo Switch first and then coming to mobile later in 2026—it should help build a bigger community around the game. While waiting for the release, I’ve been passing time with simple arcade games like Golf Hit, which are quick and fun to play. Curious to see how the battle system and team customization will evolve once it releases.
