One of the announcements at Minecraft Live is that a follow-up to the entertaining Minecraft Dungeons is currently in development. Mojang has announced that Minecraft Dungeons 2 will be arriving on both the Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo Switch 2 and released a teaser trailer to whet fans appetites. Sadly nothing has been announced regarding an Nintendo Switch 2 upgrade for the original Minecraft Dungeons and this event would have been the perfect time to announce it, if it were happening.

No Xbox of PS, or even PC version? Fine. We will be emulating it then.
It was announced for Xbox, PS5 and PC as well as the Switch. No official release date yet just sometime in the fall of 2026.
