Charlie Day really wants Danny DeVito to voice Wario

Luigi voice actor in the Super Mario Galaxy Movie, Charlie Day, has called for Danny Devito to play the role of Wario saying that Devito would be his “dream casting pick” for the franchise. Day told Screenrant that  “Danny [DeVito] would fit so well in this universe, and he would be a good Wario, I think.” Fans have been clamouring for Danny Devito to play Wario for years, so hopefully it ends up happening.

Other stars were asked to name more “dream casting.” Anya Taylor-Joy, who voices Peach, suggested that “Jessica Lange could join this,” but didn’t “know who she’s going to play.” Keegan-Michael Key, who portrays Toad, tried “to lock in on who would play Princess Daisy” before quickly naming Chloe Moretz. He elaborated, “That’s a good voice. She’s got a pretty voice. A good remarkable voice. You know what I mean? She might be good. Yeah. We’re legit casting this. I locked in a little bit here.”

  1. I don’t think it’s a good fit for Wario. Devito has a ranting acting voice, not the mischievous sound Wario needs

  2. Matches but the movie would be trash I mean the first 2 are and it’s no surprise the creators of TTG made this. No plot what so ever.

  3. Any single gals on this site? You has to like Nintendo like meh tho or you is a big fat stupid gamer man or something, not a handsum Nintendo Stuud like me who smells just like Mario. I use the Mario deodorant at least 1 or 2 times a month :3

  4. But DeVito doesn’t want to voice “cartoony” Nintendo characters. He’d rather star in dramatic live-action roles involving people, fallouts, and bad communication.

    1. (suggestion: this Biblical verse: “Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.” – Ephesians 4:29, New Living Translation version)
