Nintendo seemingly deleting Super Mario Maker 2 courses because of hashtags

One of the best things about Super Mario Maker 2 was engaging with some of the fan made courses with some being quite exceptional. Now it appears as though Nintendo is warning creators that they are deleting some of the fan-made content simply because the course names include hashtags which Nintendo appears to be consider advertising. Nintendo previously did something similar with Animal Crossing: New Horizons, where players have previously been penalised for similar things.

    1. Huh that’s funny last time I checked players are still playing and sega’s still making money and supporting the game that doesn’t sound like a failed game

      1. I have no clue honestly BUT since we’re talking about anything but the article I’ve been planning on getting into the Kirby franchise. Does anyone know a game I could start with? Oh and find my pages

        1. Probably Kirby Return to Dreamland Deluxe, originally came out on the Wii and is considered the first “modern” Kirby game. Kirby and the Forgotten Land is also really good but it’s the only 3D game in the series so far, so if you enjoy it there aren’t any others like it yet, but it does feel like the natural progression of the 2D formula (plus when you get to it, it has a NS2 expansion)

  1. Anonymous Skywalker

Since we ain’t talking about the topic, Crimson Desert is a really fun game with meh story. Bought the game after the update when it was getting some heat for bugs and poor optimization.
