Recently copies of Borderlands 4 for the Nintendo Switch 2 has been discovered circulating online despite the game having been postponed due to technical difficulties. The game included in the box is a Game-Key Card and it contains no data and the download process doesn’t start. Copies of Borderlands 4 have appeared on Vinted and an undisclosed Russian game store. 2K Games announced that they were pausing development of the game back in February, so these rare physical copies could be worth something if the game ends up being canned on the Nintendo Switch 2.

Lol, a box and plastic inside it doesn’t mean its a physical copy these days. Articles must be more precise when talking about it because it leads to misinformation and that renders the article to be low quality and unreliable.
What else would they call it? It is physical since it is a box even though it is a game key card. It’s not misleading since it is truly physical, even though it’s a game key card.
I mean yeahhhh. But game key cards still aren’t physical, the fact that they can’t even start the game is proof that they aren’t, it’s like putting inside an empty piece of plastic inside your console that just tells the console that you have the right to start a digital download.

I am not defending key cards at all, I think they are extremely annoying and overall a waste of plastic. But, I wouldn’t say this article is misleading because it says it’s physical since it is something I can hold and sell.
