Update: The sources for this are all over the place, though it appears there was no mention of a mainline game for 2027. We shall just have to wait and see if this game gets revealed or not.
With Nintendo declining to comment on its future slate of games for the year leakers are seemingly having a field day. A French insider named Oscar Lemaire has claimed that Nate’s Star Fox title, which is claimed to launch this June, is a set to be a multiplayer game which he thinks will be a spinoff. The real deal is a new mainline entry which Lemaire says is arriving in 2027. Lemaire also said that a game based on The Legend of Zelda series is scheduled for this year, but he has no idea what it’ll be. Whereas Nate specifically said it’s The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake. We will know for certain soon as Nate says that Nintendo is planning to announce the Star Fox title this month.
Oh… oh I’m scared that this could get a federation force type reaction hopefully I’m wrong. Also I’m the number one federation force defender, it was a really fun game.

It wasn’t bad… As an spin off game. Is just that after Hunters, that have a competitive and more fluid gameplay on an older console… the game felt slow, and the visuals weren’t impressive.

I still don’t think I can trust this. This French insider says they “think” this will happen, not confirming it will happen. I would love to see it, but I am fairly suspicious of these leaks.
Not sure about the Starfox leaks, but I’m friends with a retired leaker and they told me the OoT remake is true at least.

Star Fox doesn’t need spin offs, it needs a good game
I want a star fox assault with multiplayer elements like Vs, Who can shoot the most enemies down (SF64) and missions that 4 players can do together like some on foot some in air and tanks depending on the stage. Also they could just add more missions as free updates to mix it up

Oscar Lemaire was told multiplayer will be a focus and then proceeded to speculate that it may be a spin-off before moving onto another topic. He did not claim that the game was a multi-player spin-off, nor did he claim that there was a new mainline entry coming.
