NateTheHate believes Star Fox game is legit, but says he missed the mark on timing

Leaker NateTheHate is still of the opinion that the information he was told about the Star Fox game for the Nintendo Switch 2 was legitimate though he says that the timing of the reveal was off the mark. Nate previously said that the reveal for the game, which is thought to be a multiplayer experience, was set for this month, but we have had no information and it’s 1st May tomorrow.

“As said several days ago: I do not doubt the game’s existence. Several outlets/people have spoken on the game beyond me, as well.

Timing for reveal was off the mark & wrong. That’s a miss by me.”

        1. Yes I know that. Its your phrasing.
If someone ‘misses the mark on being wrong,’ logically that means they landed on being ‘right’. Make sense now ?

  1. Honestly guys… I think we should just give up on this and accept that Star Fox is never returning, and maybe neither Punch Out, Kid Icarus and Wario Land.

    1. Wario Land never had a chance in returning, especially with Nintendo thinking WarioWare is the best thing ever. Kid Icarus does have a small chance of returning due to Sakurai but that’s it.

  2. First he gives the timing (and place) of the reveal. Then, when it’s nearing and nothing comes, he defends himself with the “it was pushed back” card and takes a diss at people by talking about other occasion. Now he says that “it’s a miss by me”. Dude went through the five stages of grief rather fast, didn’t he?

Also “Several outlets/people have spoken on the game beyond me, as well” – he forgot to mention several outlets/people have spoken on the game BECAUSE of him.

Until the game is officially announced, my stance is still “it doesn’t exist”. This post looks like some attempt to salvage his reputation.

  3. He’s going to keep saying it was “delayed” until we are all dead. I don’t believe him at all right now. he’s been right in the past, but it seems right now is his downfall. Still waiting for that kirby planet robobot remaster that he said was coming out!

  4. If this game turns out to be real and gets announced, I’m worried that looking back, there will be more posts discussing the rumors than actual official news from Nintendo.

    1. Not our fault Nintendo doesn’t tell us much. People want a new Star Fox game after 10 years, rumors about one releasing soon start making the rounds, Fox shows up in the Mario Galaxy movie which makes the game’s alleged existence even more feasible… Are we suddenly not allowed to have such discourse about it?

      1. And it’s not Nintendo’s fault if a game sells poorly, so it is natural that they no longer want to take risks!
It’s like all those who demand a new F-Zero even though this series has never been successful… Why should Nintendo take a risk all that just to please a minority?…
Moreover, regarding F-Zero, Miyamoto himself stated that he didn’t understand the demand since they put all their ideas into the last game… Add to that that Mario Kart sells much better…

As for Nate, he is just pathetic; he comes up with the same kind of excuse as before… “if the Nintendo Direct didn’t take place at that time it’s because Microsoft asked them to!”
No, but they should shut up… A game doesn’t exist as long as the official channel hasn’t broadcast it, period!

  5. Eh, it happens when your job is to guess. Can we stop making headlines about an internet rando who makes wild stabs in the dark
