SEGA has been busy celebrating Sonic the Hedgehog‘s 35th anniversary and today they have shared some never-seen-before artwork from the beloved Sonic Adventure video game. The game originally launched on the SEGA Dreamcast back in 1998 in Japan and 1999 worldwide. The game successfully brought Sonic into the 3D era at the time. Check out the newly released artwork down below.

They worked hard on artwork back in the day, now all artworks are done with the help of AI still not bad if it makes making things faster and easier.
I don’t think these are AI, they look hand drawn. Sonic games are so fun to blast through while listening to a YouTube video.
He’s saying they used to make sketches like this for concepts, but now a lot of them AI generate stuff when conceptualizing a game. Art like this is going to be very scarce from here onward.
They say Sonic Adventure, I say Sonic X-treme (or what Sonic Jam should’ve been).
