Super Mario Galaxy Movie surpasses $940 million in global box office earnings

It has been announced today that The Super Mario Galaxy Movie has now surpassed $940 million in global box office earnings. That’s not all as estimates have reached $941.2 million after its sixth weekend at cinemas worldwide. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is currently projected to reach $1-1.1 billion globally. We learned earlier this week that The Super Mario Galaxy Movie will arrive on digital platforms on Wednesday, 20th May.

    1. It was never the question of whether it will flop or not, but rather is it good or not and the answer to both movies is… no from both either character development or storyline. We could have had a good story, but Illumination though it would be better to dish out a half-baked trashfest. And about the point of making money, it is Nintendo. People will buy their stuff without thinking.

  1. @CTR = Yes, Nintendo is indeed the new Walt Disney. I’ve always considered this since I first knew about Miyamoto. He has a range of colourful and cute characters just like Disney, and also the many princesses.

    He now has attractions people can visit, and finally the movies, they had to come eventually. He is every bit the making of Disney. He has suceeded in every field.

    A true legend that we will not see the likes of again.
