Tekken legend Katsuhiro Harada joins SNK’s new studio

SNK today announced the establishment of VS Studio SNK, a newly founded game development studio led by industry veteran Katsuhiro Harada. SNK has invested in the studio, bringing it into the group as a consolidated subsidiary, with both companies set to collaborate on game software development.

Harada spent 31 years at Namco, where he helped shape the fighting game genre and championed the global community that gave rise to today’s e-sports culture. Now, with VS Studio SNK, he’s channeling that experience into a studio built on the philosophy “Beyond tradition, crafted to perfection.”

    1. Would love that but Saudi’s buying Capcom for sure maybe they got money for all hope so 🤑🤑🤑🤑

  1. Tekken got worse under him I hope he’s restricted. He wanted to have Colonel Sanders as a guest. Harada did not create Tekken Seiichi Ishii created it, and I would argue e-sports fighting games pioneer was more Tomonobu Itagaki and Dead Or Alive not Harada. I do wonder if Shimbori is joining him after leaving Bandai Namco before him. Maximium Impact 3 and Buriki One 2 could happen now. Watch the usual suspect cancel him over this Maximillian Dood, Sajam, Mighty Queef, and others.

    1. All frauds they take Saudi money, zionist money, and CCP money all fake activists. Sajam was on commentary for a tournament backed by Saudi money despite boycotting EVO iver Saudi ownership. It comes across more like islamophobia more than anything from woke millennial leftists wel Max is Gen X.
