Update: The leaker was full of something.
A leaker with a currently unproven track record has stated that Nintendo is planning to release a new trailer for Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave today via the Nintendo Today app and the official YouTube channel. The leaker also says that the next Fire Emblem game for the Nintendo Switch 2 has a 17th September release date, which will be shown in the aforementioned trailer.

If this is true! Let’s go!!!!
To further back this up, we keep getting fire emblem articles on Nintendo today about previous games and characters.
Ahh yes….. track record. Track record of Gearbox says they’d make a decent Aliens shooter and instead it came from the VR company. Track records mean nothing
Yes. I too have read the unverified Reddit post. News is slow, I see.
I’ll be getting day one, no question. Been that way for every Fire Emblem since I got into it with Awakening. Robin is my main in Smash and everything!
Ok bro
Yeah Awakening was the saving grace for FE, it’s when it got most of its overseas fans. I do really wonder what would’ve happen to this series had FE:A flopped.
A new Fire Emblem trailer today would be amazing! I’m always excited for new entries in the series. It reminds me of the fun I have playing other strategy games like Cheat or Repeat.
I’ll believe it when I see it; that being said, we are due for an update
I’ll add that it will come out at 3:06pm PST.
We’re still waiting for this “famous” announcement…but hey, “it’s not my fault if Nintendo changes its plans at the last minute!!”
Here we go again…
If this is true, I don’t think we’re getting a general Nintendo Direct for quite a long time.
Ok, that “leak” was a lie! unless this will be announced in about 13 minutes, I think this leak is fake.
And there we go, another liar.
I love how the article was renamed to nope, that’s funny.
I wonder if this was one of NIntendo’s leaker booby traps, false information they spread internally to see who’s talking. If so, it apparently worked.
My guess (and I emphasize that I have NO inside information, just inferences from Nintendo’s patterns) is that we’ll get a trailer in a June Direct and an August release date. They already have May, June, and July first-party releases on the calendar, so that’s the next opening.
