Annapurna Interactive says it has encountered issues with the free upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the charming Stray video game. If you own Stray on the Nintendo Switch you were meant to have a 100% free owners discount and the company says that the aforementioned discount is unfortunately not being applied. The company says it is working with Nintendo to get the issue fixed in the “next few days.”
Today’s launch for Stray on Nintendo Switch 2 was intended to have a 100% owners discount for those who already own Stray digitally on Switch 1 (excluding Japan). Due to an error on the storefront backend, this discount is not being correctly applied. We working with Nintendo to get this fixed over the next few days, and apologize for the inconvenience.
