Since the launch of the Nintendo Music app in October 2024, Nintendo has consistently been expanding the service (free for Nintendo Switch Online members) with more soundtracks from their extensive library of games.
Today’s update includes an hour of music from the 2001 GameCube classic, Pikmin, with 33 total tracks added. The only curated playlist this time around is for Weird Planet, alongside the usual Extended-Playback Collection, which allows you to listen to select tracks with a seamless loop.
Nintendo Music is available now for iOS and Android devices from their respective app stores.

It’s always nice to see more great music being added to streaming libraries, especially when it’s connected to games with memorable soundtracks. Discovering new tracks often leads me down a rabbit hole of finding different artists and styles. When I’m working on small music projects, I also like exploring free songs to sample to spark new ideas and experiment with different sounds.
