New batch of backwards compatibility fixes for Switch games on Nintendo Switch 2

Nintendo has been steadily working with third party developers to get their Nintendo Switch games running as intended on the Nintendo Switch 2. While some fixes have been implemented by the developers, not all titles are working as expected, and new titles seem to pop up every time that these update posts are published. Still it’s heartening to see that some of the more obscure games are continuing to be fixed and are now working as intended when played on the Nintendo Switch 2.

Fixed titles:

  • Buddy Collection if
  • Dragon Quest Builders
  • Laysara: Summit Kingdom
  • Monster Hunter Stories
  • Neon Inferno
  • Overcooked: All You Can Eat
  • This is Fine: Maximum Cope
  • Top Cop: Police Training
  • Wolfenstein: Youngblood

Feature specific issues:

  • Ghost Master: Resurrection – Issues have been found with game progression in the Walls of Judgment downloadable content.
  • Grandia HD Collection – Users may experience slowdown in some areas.
  • Resident Evil 5 – Users may experience audio problems in some areas.

Fully unsupported:

  • Attack on Titan 2
  • Crypt Carnage
  • Megadimension Neptunia 7
  • Truck Simulator USA

  1. I still can’t access the eShop or the online app or seemingly any online features (game updates etc) after opening Smash Ultimate even if I’m not playing it online. I have to go to my settings and reconnect to my Wi-Fi every single time.

  2. “Megadimension Neptunia 7”
It’s actually the letter V and a Roman numeral 2. Also curious why it’s unsupported when people have played it to completion on Switch 2.

    1. After quickly looking into it, it seems the issue is that it randomly crashes now and then. Otherwise, the game plays better on Switch 2.

  3. Pak Win Game is a mobile-friendly online gaming platform where users can explore different games and platform features. Its straightforward interface is designed to make navigation convenient across supported devices.
