The Xbox Store accidentally revealed that we are getting not only Rayman Legends Retold but we are also getting Rayman Origins Enhanced. A leaker, who has published screenshots of the game in action, has detailed a few of the new additions to the game, which include an easy mode for those struggling with the sublime 2D platforming. The leaker says that there are over 100 skins for Rayman to don in his classic adventure. Rayman Origins Enhanced will apparently be $20 and is likely be unveiled at Summer Game Fest next week. Here’s what was divulged via machine translation.
- “easy mode” with Murphy automatically collecting the medallions
- alternative hearts (blue = 3 hits, gold = 4 hits, something like that)
- VISUAL changes, such as the end-of-level sign
- more than 100 SKINS confirmed
Easy mode = journalist mode. I’m surprised they didn’t include an auto play option aka skill issue mode for journalists.
Looks like they took a page out of Mario games.. maybe they’ll put an invincibility permanent power up in there too.
