Rayman 4 is currently in the planning stages at Ubisoft and will presumably use the same game engine as the sumptuous Rayman Legends Retold, which was fully unveiled yesterday during the State of Play broadcast. One of the leakers who revealed Rayman Legends Retold has said that Ubisoft is depending on strong sales of Rayman Legends Retold before it fully commits to the new Rayman game project.
Quick reminder, Ubisoft has already made preliminary plans to develop Rayman 4 but will depends on Rayman Legends Retold success. Let’s all support that franchises fellas. We all deserve it ❤️

The team on this remake seem to be extremely talented and incredibly passionate and proud to be making Rayman. This is definitely a test to see if they’re the right fit and from the trailer alone they’ve passed with flying colors. I hope this sells like crazy.
I always see people asking why we’re getting remakes instead of new games… and it’s like, duh a lot of bigger companies are sorting things out internally or with external teams to have a dedicated team for a particular series. Same thing with Star Fox lol, this is how we get new games in smaller dormant franchises
My opinion on this remake completely flipped when I saw it. It’s very unnessary, but it looks so good! I will buy this day one not only for hope for Rayman 4, not only to support the incredible team behind this, not only because it’s an incredible deal, but also because Rayman legends is one of the greatest games of all time. Go try out the original, it goes on sale for like 5$ often on multiple stores.
I’ve never understood this logic from developers.
“Want a new product?! Okay prove it by buying a product you’ve already bought again!”
Especially the quote in the article is tragic. Basically saying, “We gotta support this franchise by buying the remake or it’s our fault it dies!”
I think it’s pointless for them to remake a great game, so I don’t play Ubisoft games other than Rayman 4 and 2D Prince of Persia.
I feel this is all BS to sell the game they always do this and the thing the promise will happen if the other thing does well never happens.
Seconded. Publishers say this every time they announce a remake or remaster.
