The official Elden Ring X account has finally announced the release date for Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition. The game launches on Nintendo Switch 2 on 28th August. The Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game was pushed back due to poor optimisation issues noted in the various previews that appeared. Hopefully Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition is now a more polished version of what we originally saw. We will know for certain nearer the game’s release date in August.
Also included in ELDEN RING Tarnished Edition is the ELDEN RING Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. Expanding on the story of the original game, players embark on a new adventure full of mysteries and danger, setting off on a terrifying journey where they will confront threatening bosses and discover new gear, abilities, weapons and armor. Following in the footsteps of Miquella, the once tarnished legions who rose to Elden Lord may now need to leave their grace behind, as they unravel the sinister dark side of the ELDEN RING story.
I really hope this game runs well, I may even persuade my self to buy a game key card!
That took a while. But I am excited to finally try out this game!!
