The final game announced during Summer Game Fest is the long-awaited final part of the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy which is officially titled, Final Fantasy VII Revelation. The game will come to all platforms simultaneously, so it won’t be on PlayStation 5 first and Switch 2 later, which will be a relief to many. Square Enix revealed a brand new trailer which you can watch down below.
Final Fantasy VII Revelation announced, simultaneous release coming spring 2027

So soon! Simultaneous release is a huge deal! Hard to decide which console to get this on!
God this looks absolutely peak… I can’t wait!!!!!~
This looks… mid as hell, to be perfectly honest.
Looks like they’ve learnt absolutely nothing from Rebirth’s failure, so this will undoubtedly be yet another flop.
SE really need to get their shit together, they can’t keep going like this for much longer.
Low quality bait, and in this site, that says something.
The game looks way better than Rebirth already.
I wish TruthBringer would just shut up for once, He hates everything.
It’s not even funny. Job systems are finally back, Vincent and Cid look and play amazingly well, the areas seem more involved instead of the empty ones in Rebirth filled by minigames left and right.
I hate the idea of a remake that actually is a sequel but the game by itself looks spectacular.
It will sell fine like Rebirth
When’s the inevitable Remirthelations with all three games together?
Hope it tanks! Big FU Square Enix! This company uses AI and is supported by the Saudis!
I can telll you were drunk while writing, so many spelling mistakes, you even screwed up your name!
As someone who just started playing Final Fantasy this year, I am so hyped for Revelation 🤩
Welcome to the fandom! Been one of my favorites since I first played it 31 years ago 😍
@Ridnle
I’d rather them supporting the Saudis and laying off DEI hires than go full DEI and supporting Islamic Regime and communism.
Wow looks so stunning.
I need to see Max’s reaction
Oh it’s up and 32 minutes long
Sony no longer has a monopoly on 3rd party exclusives coming to it first then coming to other platforms a year later. I’m definitely buying this on PC first and double dipping the trilogy on SW2.
If you’re a Kingdom Hearts fan just boycott this if you actually want your series to be taken seriously if this flops they have to realize then. No more excuses it’s crazy to think 4 was announced before Rebirth now this and both came out before. Just avoid all Square Enix titles!
If you avoid all square enix titles, you’ll avoid kingdom hearts 4.
Fuck you they made people wait near 10 years for a game and lie they deserve animosity announced a game in 2022 with gameplay promising a follow-up in 2023 then cancel games and delist them this is warranted. If KH fans want to send a message get this to tank the exude of FF is a cash cow then fades away and it has for a while. They literally could have turned Misding Libk into a console game or remade Union X Dark Road but instead ghost a fanbase telling them to F themselves same way the FF fanbase acts.
Agreed. May Square Enix go broke!
You want KH4 then avoid buying this anyone telling you otherwise is why that franchise was abandoned if this tanks Square will focus on KH again
The director did an interview with that scumbag Maximillian Dood even more reason why I’ll avoid this trash clearly they work with him and take his feedback. Whole reason Kingdom Hearts was pushed back and probably cancelled his feedback. The director of this oversees the studio in charge of Kingdom Hearts too you see he hates it too only talking about Final Fantasy ignoring that Kingdom Hearts has younger demo.
You guys have to learn patience. There are so many games that get announced and then release 5 years. You guys will likely get this game very soon with all of the leaks. I had to wait 7 years for silksong, and that got gameplay I think in 2022. But the end result, that game is easily one of my favorite games of all time. So, just learn to be patient.
