Capcom and Square Enix have announced a collaboration to bring Tifa Lockhart from the Final Fantasy VII Remake series to Street Fighter 6 in early 2027. Other new fighters announced to be coming to the fighting game in its 4th year includes newcomers Yasmine and Arjun, as well as Bosch, the second protagonist of World Tour. Check out the character release schedule and announcement trailer for the upcoming DLC below. Street Fighter 6 is available now on Nintendo Switch 2.

Not really, the “leak” claimed Tifa, Vega, Haggar, and Gouken. Out of all 4 only Tifa was right which probably was a lucky guess as she’s been a popular request for ages now.

Blame Ed Boon the guy hates DC and loves trolling at 62 years old, it’s very weird WB Games has nothing else announced since Lego Batman 2027 is fully blank and nothing for the remainder of the year. Ed probably still wants to fake MK doing well like he did over the 8 million MK1 sales which were only after 3 years and discounts ignoring the game only sold 3 million in a year and that the MK2 movie is a flop like the 2021 movie.

The character and franchise suck it doesn’t bring people in. Capcom going to be burning more money for this only existing players will buy this and not all of them. Yujiro Hanma on the other hand sparked interest back in Tekken 8 skyrocketing sales gevause he appeals to a more rabid younger demo also crossover audience wise. Tifa is boomer slop mixed with some weird beta goners, while Yujiro is Gen Z based.
Yujiro Hanma better! This show was better than State Of Play but still not great especially at the end of the console generation.
I honestly planned on skipping the street fighter 6 DLC as whole, just because I don’t really have any justification for buying it, but here are in tifa was on the roster might be enough to convince me to splurge a little
I love Tifa. She is on a top 10 fictional characters list who can hold their own in combat with Lucario, Rouge the bat, Gardevoir, Princess Peach, Naruto, Hinata Hyuga, Amy Rose, Sakura Haruno and Raven (dc comics).
