A Pokemon champion has begged players to start wearing deodorant

Some people’s personal hygiene is usually an issue at busy and crowded gaming events and can be extremely off-putting. Now a Pokemon champion has urged his competitors to start using deodorant regularly after claims that a fellow player’s bad body odour made him throw up during a tournament. It’s not hard to apply deodorant so hopefully Donghun Youm pleas will resonate with fellow competitors and Pokemon events will become more bearable. Youm did not identify the offending player involved.

“Please take care of your personal hygiene. I’ve had an accident @ Baltimore regionals where I had to throw up due to a nearby player’s stench. My friends and I couldn’t focus that round due to how putrid the small was and we even told a judge due to it. Like c’mon man…”

  1. If the smell is genuinely that bad then we’re not talking about just using deodorant. We’re talking showers, launder your clothes, deodorant, body spray, and ensure your home or living area is clean too as if that stinks you will too.

The reality is that any type of congregation that includes a lot of “nerds” is going to be inevitably have its share of people with poor personal hygiene. I don’t think this is something that can be resolved.
