The trailer for the new Hot Wheels Infinite Rush was accidentally published early ahead of the Summer Game Fest event which kicks off this evening. The game will be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 and other platforms on 24th September and will retail for $50. This is the first Hot Wheels game from developer Milestone for three years, so hopefully it lives up to expectation.
Sadly the gameplay trailer has now been taken down, but Insider Gaming, who have seen the trailer, says; “The one-and-a-half-minute trailer showcases players navigating a new open world for their joyrides. It features in-engine footage that provides a glimpse of the gameplay players can expect. The trailer features a variety of cars, tracks, and environments, along with a massive figure reminiscent of King Kong.”

This has honestly been one of the biggest leak heavy years ever (outside of like singular huge events like the Smash 3DS ESRB character roster leak). Like, there are full box arts, pricing info and store listings leaking, Xbox accidentally put up Persona 4 early, Minecraft Switch 2 among other games got rated before their official unveilings, we have a whole slew of Switch 2 ports and 1st party releases via NateTheHate, even the Pokémon FRLG Versions and Winds & Waves were leaked ahead of time. Even developers are accidentally posting their trailers man sdfggfgfg
