Monster Hunter Wilds in development for Nintendo Switch 2

Just after unveiling a new DLC expansion for Monster Hunter Wilds at Summer Game Fest, Capcom has now confirmed that the massive action-RPG is now in development for Nintendo Switch 2. No release date or further details were shared about the port, but with the “Ascendance” DLC launching for other platforms in 2027, we likely have a while to wait before we can start playing the game portably on Nintendo’s latest system. Regardless, following all the rumors and speculation, it’s nice to have confirmation that a Switch 2 version is officially in the works.

  1. I’m excited, but cautiously because I know even the PS5 and Xbox Series X had problems running this game, hell my brother’s PC had problems running it and he has a RTX 3090 with 32GB of RAM.

Though after seeing them handle the ports of RE7, RE8 and RE9, I’m excited

    1. I thought the same for star wars outlaws, that game had many issue on the ps5 and xbox series consoles, but on switch 2, it’s very stable. Hopefully wilds be the same. I want to try a monster hunter game, so this will be an exciting opportunity!
