Known leaker NateTheHate has posted his predictions video for the Nintendo Direct presentation which also includes a Nintendo Treehouse segment afterwards. NateTheHate, who had previously leaked that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is being remade, has said that he believes that game will receive the most screen time followed by FromSoftware’s The Duskbloods. We know next to nothing about The Duskbloods, so it will be good to find out a bit more about the promising game.

More seriously, a section for rumors and/or spoiler-free headlines/images would be nice so those of us who actually like being surprised by the actual announcements can be. Yeah, it’s not that big of a deal but it does get a little annoying, especially when the companies plan stuff to surprise everyone and leakers take away their thunder for their own fame and glory. And it used to be kinda fun and special not knowing anything until we were supposed to.
There’s always a ton of rumours and leaks around this time it’s typical for June. I’ll bear this in mind 😊

The new kid icarus game will have more presence than ocarina of time remake or any other game and it will be called: super smash brother’s kid icarus, the idea behind the name is to help to sell the IP due to the last game flopping.

The main problem isn’t even the rumors but when they outright lay out everything in the title.
I mean, one thing is “Zelda OoT remake is rumored to be at Nintendo Direct”, while another thing is “Zelda Ocarina of Time will have most screen time followed by Duskbloods at Nintendo Direct”. It’s almost as bad as the Dragon Ball episodes back then with titles like “Freeza dies”, “Goku comes back to Earth”, “Majin Buu stops killing people”, etc. There’s no need to outline such a big description at the title.

Generally, I would find this complaint a bit silly, considering we’re on the internet and constantly exposed to rumors. However, you make a fair point and proposed a good solution.
Having headlines such as “Rumor: NateTheHate reveals possible news for the next Direct” would solve the issue for both groups: people who enjoy visiting the site but prefer to avoid potential spoilers, and those who don’t mind and would click the article to read the details (which would be my case).
It’s refreshing to see someone offering constructive ideas instead of simply complaining.

I’ll be honest, as a lifelong Zelda fan (named my daughter after the series), I gotta say OoT isn’t even in my top 5 Zelda games. Buttttt, a remake in the TotK engine would be HYPE as heck. I’m all for this!

My list has shifted around a bit after replaying a lot of them over the last few years, but my #1 stayed the same
#1 is Link’s Awakening for sure. #2 is TotK (game still has me shook), #3 and #4 are WW and MM, depending on the day you ask me, and #5 is ALBW (I think this objectively the best 2D Zelda, but LA is near and dear to me).
OoT is prob #6 yeah. It’s a masterpiece of a game, in the same way FF7 and Mario 64 are. The most “Zelda” game there is, and the blueprint for the series going forward, but I just like other entries better as they did certain aspects better IMO.
ZeepZeep that’s a great list almost same as me except for including oot somwhere in it, and playing Link’s Awakening Gameboy version when I was a kid was an experience I will never forget it stayed my best game ever for a long while.

They are game announcements. Not a movie TV Show, or Story. And they are hard to call rumors when Nate has gotten it all right. His track record with Nintendo is almost perfect like 95% and I bet the other 5% is from Nintendo deciding to change plans. I like not being kept in the dark and being drip fed announcements. I like knowing about what reliable sources say. Some here want act like children because they can’t cope with reality. It’s not spoilers, it’s not Christmas. It’s announcements for expensive products that you have to pay money for. When it comes to things dealing with money, its always better to know sooner than later. Some have to financially plan and work in extra purchases among many other reasons. Don’t like Leaks.

Yeah makes sense…hoping for surprises I think Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece Collection will be here. GTA 4 and 5 would also be welcome and Nate’s been saying RDR2 port for a while so hopefully. If Square shows up with more ports would love FF15 and Sleeping Dogs, Rebirth I think will be here too. They should show Splatoon Raiders again get some momentum for that and hopefully Mario new 3D game. Hoping for Astral Chain 2 as well been a while and heard some stuff on that. Ace Attorney could be here and hopium for Power Stone a remake or 3. Another copium is .hack first 4 games as a collection.

Rumores and Leaks are part of Gaming News and Coverage just like how talk shows and movie magazines discuss rumores, leaks, and gossip about the happenings in Hollywood. Its why Gamexplain, Nintendo Life, Good Vibe Gaming cover them, it’s why this site covers them. You are the extremely small minority that complain though in your case, you go as far as to say, they aren’t real, only lies and guesses. More people like hearing about what could and can be comming from those with insider information than those who dont.
I heard so much about this February/March Nintendo Direct that never happened. So yea he has some hits some misses. I treat him like someone who says they can speak to my dead dog, like oh that’s interesting but not gonna put to much stock in it.

At this point, Nate has said quite a bit that has come true. If this turns out to be the truth, then I’ll 100% believe what he says until he eventually gets kicked out (it’s happened to all prominent leakers in the past). Whether that happens in the next year or five years from now, he’ll have my trust until then.

Ocarina of Time has aged like milk and is not a good game without the nostalgia factor. Of all the games in need of a remake, it is at the top of the heap (as far as Zelda is concerned)
It’s an almost perfectly designed game that is stuck on faulty hardware. I feel like a remake could truly make this game shine even brighter, I mean it’s one of the most iconic games of all time.
Games don’t age, and OoT has always been a good game. I bet you think every game needs to be an empty open world too.
I know it’s always been a great game, but the camera could use some work since the 64 only had one joystick and I feel like the framerate can make some battles harder, at least on 64. But I played the heck out of ocarina of time! I got 40 hours in the 3ds version from just exploring and replaying the game.

Ocarina of Time Remake?! Not buying a Switch 2 for that. Never bought a console for a Zelda remake. Not the GBC, GBA, WiiU, or 3DS.
Look, focus on what games you like to play and hope they bring us something on it. Ocarina of Time Remake is fine with me because I had already played BOTW and TOTK on OG Switch. I did not need to play again on Switch 2. I love Pokemon. I doubt they are doing anything further with Legends Z-A. But, Pokopia has a solid chance for some more content. Maybe some more old school Pokemon games like Red and Green releasing. The Dusk Bloods looked pretty rad last year when they showed it off. I would like to see more of that as well. New Fire Emblem is very welcome. I am not a fan of MKW compared to MK8. It is all about what you like and don’t like. Lets see what they give us tomorrow and be happy. Hey, it has to be better than what Sony and Microsoft showed us already.
