Nintendo Store maintenance has historically often aligned with direct dates and today Nintendo has announced a last-minute delay to Nintendo Store maintenance from 9th June to 11th June. This has led many to believe that the Kyoto-based company plans to hold the rumoured June Nintendo Direct on Thursday, 11th June. A Nintendo Direct for this week has been mentioned by NateTheHate and Jeff Grubb, so we will have to wait and see what happens.

I’m cool with the 11th. It’s only a 3 day wait vs. a 1 day wait. I got horror movie jumpscared hearing about this earlier as my partner is visiting her family at the moment out of country. I’m just glad she’s safe to be honest. She was headed to an airport at the time but all is well. I totally understand the direct delay, there was a tsunami warning and everything.
Rest In Peace… 15 fatalities occurred and I think ~139 people were injured. Not mentioned in the article but the earthquake + tsunami warning (called off just a bit ago) is probably the reason behind the delay

It was Sunday but nintendo delayed it to Thursday because it was leaked, now because it was leaked its thursday they will delayed it even 3 more days more, stop leaking so we get to see it.

Well, it would be surprising if that were a reason for the postponement… Postponed maintenance isn’t uncommon, and there could be a thousand other reasons for it. The “Live” broadcast is only “Live” in name; it’s prepared weeks, even months, in advance, so…

Nintendo please save us! We had 3 mediocre presentations from Xbox, PlayStation, and the summer games festival, this better be good!

My Brother-in-Christ, I wouldn’t say RE Veronica, P4R, P6, and FF7Revelation was a mediocre lineup.
But yes I really need more FE info. Engage didn’t hit home with me like Three Houses and the older games did.
Those were the best parts of those, but I didn’t really care about the summers game festival or that Xbox showcase. I thought it was crazy that both persona games were at the Xbox showcase!

my honest question is say they confirm a direct this week. does this mean the leakers were right or they got lucky?
It might not be E3 (which sadly doesn’t exist anymore) but it looks like it’s still game-announcements season, and I am HERE for it.
How long do I have to keep suffering…? I only wanted to watch the Direct to see what else to buy by the time GTA VI strikes, and then stopping looking at gaming sites for good… it seems like fate wants me to keep suffering the most as I can in this toxic hell…
