The long-awaited next mainline entry in the beloved Persona series Persona 6 has now been rated by the Australian Classification Board. The Australian Classification Board gave Persona 6 a M rating for Mature and says that the game features violence, nudity and coarse language. It’s not exactly clear when Persona 6 is arriving, but many online are speculating that it could arrive September 2027.

Coarse language?! In MY video game??
Finally some official confirmation! An Australian Classification Board rating basically means the game is much closer to release than people think — they don’t rate games years in advance. M rating for violence, nudity, and coarse language is pretty much what we expected from Persona, staying true to the series’ style.
September 2027 speculation makes sense if you think about it — Atlus loves big release windows and September has been kind to the Persona series before. Persona 5 Royal also got quietly rated before its announcement blitz.
Honestly just relieved it’s real and not another spin-off. Can’t wait to see what direction they take the story and cast this time around. Hoping for a day-one PC release too, no more waiting years like with P5!
Wait nudity? This better show up on the switch 2 to mock dispatch’s censorship.
